Kokosbollar Recipe – Swedish Chocolate Balls
With coconut shreds they are called kokosbollar, but with pearl sugar they are called chokladbollar. The singular form is kokosboll.
Ingredients:
- ½ cup sugar
 - 1 cup oat groats
 - 1 cup grated coconut
 - 2 tbsp. cocoa
 - 1 tbsp. vanilla sugar
 - 2 tbsp. non-salted butter (softened)
 - 2 tbsp. water
 - 1 egg
 
Instructions:
1.      
Mix the sugar, ¾ of the grated coconut, the
cocoa, vanilla sugar and butter in a big bowl until you get a homogenous
mixture.
2.      
Add the egg and mix until firm.
3.      
Let it cool in the fridge for about 10 mins for
it to harden a little.
4.      
Roll the mixture and cut it in little pieces of
equal size.
5.      
Roll each piece into a ball.
6.      
Roll the balls in the rest of the grated
coconut.
